About the Opportunity
Join us on a structured Graduate Program that supports and encourages you towards a rewarding career within the civil construction industry. We have a full-time position available immediately based in our Sippy Downs office initially, to join the Pre-Contracts team. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will be learning the front end of project delivery, from pricing and planning to understanding what goes into preparing a winning tender. Opportunities will also be available to you to go out to site and learn site-based Engineering works.
As part of this role, you will be involved in:
Procure & Evaluate: Prepare and issue RFQs, and assist with subcontractor and supplier quote reviews to identify best value for money.
Collaborate: Work closely with estimating, operations, and corporate services to see the full tender process in action.
Develop Technically: Complete quantity take-offs, review direct and indirect costs, and understand how pricing decisions are made.
Review & Analyse: Go through tender documentation - specs, approvals, and drawings, and help prepare executive summaries outlining key risks and opportunities.
Plan Construction Approaches: Support the team in developing construction methodologies and approach statements.
Use Key Systems: Gain practical experience with Expert Estimating, MS Project, and PowerPoint to support tender preparation and presentations.
Join Tender Reviews: Sit in on tender review meetings to see how SEE CIVIL's bids are assessed and finalised.

About You
A completed University Degree in Engineering (Civil) in the last two years or due for completion by the end of 2025
Australia Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident and or full Australian working rights (visa sponsorship is not available)
Some relevant industry or internship experience is advantageous but not essential
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a high level of organisational skills
High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills
