We are currently hiring an experienced Cook for a modern cafe offering fine dining, catering, functions and takeaway facilities. We are looking for a motivated team member to work in our Cafe in ACT. Must be able to work weekends as per requirements.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
* Food preparation and cooking, plating and presentation.
* Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies.
* Innovative in producing new ideas for menu and special occasions.
* Able to deal with big catering and functions orders.
* Able to work in a busy environment, including weekends and public holidays.
* Support the head chef in creating new dishes and food preparation.
* Train other kitchen staff if required.
* All other required cook duties.
Requirement:
* 1 year plus Cook experience.
* Cert III / CertIV in cookery preferred.
* Teamwork oriented.
* Excellent communication and organisation skills.
* High standard of personal hygiene.
* Work independently without supervision,
* Work in a fast paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary range: $74,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year
