Operational Management Opportunity in Perioperative Services
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Second In-Charge to the Perioperative Services Manager. This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and experience in perioperative management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Enhance quality and safety by implementing best practice standards and legislative requirements.
* Manage staff performance through structured appraisals, recruitment, and professional development.
* Build and maintain relationships with Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) to achieve high satisfaction levels.
* Effectively manage resources, including budget planning and inventory management.
* Co-chair the Work Health & Safety (WHS) committee and ensure adherence to all WHS policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Extensive current clinical practice in perioperative roles.
* Recent theatre management experience and Graduate Certificate/Diploma in Perioperative Nursing (desirable).
* Minimum five years post-graduate experience, with significant exposure in a complex surgical setting.
* Demonstrated leadership skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation.
* Strong commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in outcomes.
