About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and genuine team player to join our Corporate Services team as a Facilities Officer.
As a Facilities Officer, you will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support and assistance to the Regional Facilities Manager to facilitate the efficient day-to-day management and operation of Queensland Country's properties and facilities across the QLD state portfolio
This is a full-time position based on a 38 hour work week based in our Townsville Head Office.
Key Responsibilities

* Provide high level administrative support to the Facilities Manager and other members of the Facilities team including the Head of Corporate services
* Deliver and assist in a high standard of service with internal and external parties including the management of administrative tasks that are assigned to the facilities department
* Liaise and manage vendors, suppliers, contractors, and service providers on behalf of Management
* Assist with the management of contracts across both hard and soft facilities services for all Queensland Country facilities
* Raise purchase orders to appropriate trades and vendors, including management, tracking, analyse, action and financial reporting
* Maintain, track and update service records with a high level of accuracy in respect to property assets, work requests and projects
* Assist with Monthly PPM contractual schedule management of the maintenance activities across the portfolio including tracking and reporting
About You
* Proven work history based on the key responsibilities of the role
* Excellent communication skills
* A strong attention to detail
* A demonstrated ability to work as a supportive team member
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
* A high level of initiative, accuracy and efficiency
* Certificate in Business or similar qualification (desirable)
* Previous experience in a similar role (desirable)
