About the Role Working as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Occupational Therapist is responsible for the provision of occupational therapy services to a community-based adult caseload with Acquired Brain Injury.Duties include:Providing occupational therapy services and evaluating best practice within a multidisciplinary team.Maintaining evidence based and contemporary practice.Implementing innovation to problem solve the needs of people living with brain injury.The incumbent also assists the Senior Occupational Therapist by:Contributing to the development of occupational therapy services within BISA as a member of the occupational therapy team.Pursuing evidence-based practice and innovating in service delivery when required.Contributing to the skill development of occupational therapy students.
Qualifications / Registrations: Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy.Professional Registration with AHPRA.Highly developed interpersonal skills incorporating excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills.Current (within the last 3 years) Disability Worker Check and DCSI Child related employment screening/Working with Children check.NDIS knowledge / experience.Experience in Neurological Occupational Therapy assessment and service delivery with Adults with ABI.
