* Lead and support HR staff and managers in resolving complex workforce issues, including grievances, investigations, performance, and conflict management.
* Provide expert industrial relations advice, coach leaders, and ensure compliance with statutory and Award obligations during workplace changes.
* Use workforce data and insights to improve organisational performance and support informed decision-making.
* Support Council values by contributing to key committees, sustainability and safety initiatives, and continuous capability building across the organisation.
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds qualifications in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Law or other relevant field, and brings demonstrated experience in relation to change management (projects, people, and systems) in a medium to large organisation.
* Demonstrates innovative problem-solving, with the ability to develop business cases and gain stakeholder confidence.
* Communicates effectively, delivers high-quality service, and builds positive relationships through strong presentation and conflict management skills.
