The Store Person Grade 3 will support day‐to‐day operations at a DTL site, assisting in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching Defence equipment, supplies and materials. They ensure tasks comply with DTL contractual requirements, Defence regulations, safety protocols and operational standards, maintaining a safe, clean and efficient environment.
Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience
* Previous experience in warehousing, logistics or similar operational environment is desirable, though not essential for this entry‐level position.
* Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for and maintain an Australian AGSVA Defence Security Clearance.
Technical/Professional Skills Required
* Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adherence to WHS standards.
* Teamwork and collaboration: ability to work effectively within a team.
* Time management: efficiently managing workload and meeting deadlines in a time‐sensitive environment.
* Attention to detail: ensuring accuracy in stock management, order fulfilment and reporting.
* Physical fitness to perform manual handling, lifting and carrying of materials.
Qualifications – Education and/or Professional
* Valid forklift licence (if required) or willingness to obtain one.
* Driver's Licence Car (C).
* Security clearance as required (Negative Vetting 1/2 or Baseline).
