About the opportunity
Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for ensuring safe and efficient operations in the concrete industry? We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor or Batcher in charge to join our dynamic team at our Beerwah plant. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing the production process and maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service.
Responsibilities
* Concrete batching & front-end loader operations.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Management System.
* Manage the water and waste management system, adhering to environmental requirements.
* Oversee concrete production, meeting customer specifications and deadlines.
* Optimize truck and personnel scheduling to ensure efficient operations.
* Maintain stock levels by ordering raw materials and conducting regular inventory checks.
* Coordinate equipment maintenance and engage contractors when needed.
* Provide leadership and support to the production team.
* Handle administrative tasks and contribute to operational improvements.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a production or supervisory role.
* Previous batching experience would be an advantage.
* Strong knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet production deadlines.
* Effective leadership abilities to motivate and develop a diverse team.
* Front-end loader certification and LF forklift license (preferred).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Hours of Work
* Typically, 5AM-4:00PM Monday-Friday
* Alternating Saturday overtime.
