The Sutherland Hospital is now recruiting to the Operating Theatres.
Now is an exciting time to join The Sutherland Hospital, with our $ million expansion nearing completion, we are offering:
1. 8 Operating Theatres
2. 2 endoscopy procedure rooms with digitally integrated operating systems
3. Hybrid operating theatre for the facilitation of interventional radiology, vascular and gastroenterology procedures
4. New 18 bed post anaesthetic care unit
5. New 36 bed Surgical Short Stay Unit to facilitate admission and discharge for the high-volume short stay patients
6. New staff amenities & activity based working space for nursing and medical staff
7. New Central Sterilising Services Department
The Sutherland Hospital is a 375-bed, major metropolitan hospital and an associated teaching hospital of the University of NSW.
8. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and communicate as a team member.
9. Demonstrates ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
10. Demonstrated ability to follow procedure and meet physical demands of the role.
11. Ability to undertake manual handling tasks.
12. First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Category A workers and new recruits who are non-compliant with seasonal influenza vaccination or have a medical contraindication to influenza or COVID-19 vaccinations must comply with all other infection control risk reduction strategies as directed while working in a Category A position.
