Join the Department for Child Protection as a Case Manager Supervisor or Social Worker Supervisor through a regional pool vacancy across the Far North and Far West. FIFO and DIDO arrangements are available for AHP3 roles, operating on a 5 days on, 2 days off roster. In this leadership role, you will guide and support teams delivering vital child protection services and help shape safer futures for children and young people. AHP Position
* AHP3: $108,347 to $116,216 per annum plus 12% superannuation
* FIFO/DIDO positions available on a 5 days on, 2 days off roster.
* Exclusive Allowance: Extra 4% for child protection social workers, permanently enshrined in the Enterprise Agreement, making DCP the highest paying government employer in SA
* Professional Development: A $1,000 annual professional development allowance, plus reimbursement of approved professional development expenses up to $1,500

PO Position

In this role, you will
* Guide teams through complex casework and critical decision making
* Mentor staff to build capability, confidence and cultural responsiveness
* Coordinate planning, review and prioritisation of team workloads
* Contribute expertise to service improvement and operational planning
To be successful
You will be an experienced practitioner with demonstrated leadership in child protection or human services, including the supervision and development of staff in complex practice environments. You bring strong professional judgement, cultural capability and the ability to guide teams through risk assessment, planning and decision making.
You will be confident applying legislation, policy and evidence-based practice frameworks, with the ability to manage competing priorities, allocate resources effectively and contribute to service improvement and strategic objectives.

Special Conditions
Persons of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, who have the appropriate background and skills but do not have the essential qualification, may apply for and be engaged/assigned to the role of Social Worker and will be entitled to apply for any Allied Health Professional roles requiring a qualification in Social Work within the Department for Child Protection (DCP).
