Job Overview
This role is responsible for undertaking maintenance and construction projects that enhance or modify public open spaces, reserves, cemeteries, streets and Shire ablutions. The successful candidate will be required to operate fleet vehicles and plant equipment to carry out maintenance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance of parks, sporting facilities, public open spaces, reserves, cemeteries, streets and Shire ablutions;
* Operating fleet including truck/trailer, and plant equipment to carry out maintenance requirements;
* Gardening duties including mowing, fertilising, planting, pruning, edging, reticulation maintenance and weed control;
* Ensuring that tools, machinery, equipment and workshop are maintained to a high standard;
* Attending team meetings, inductions and other required training;
* Following organisational specific procedures and processes at all times;
* Actively contribute to team planning and be committed to strong work productivity and high-quality outputs.
Requirements
