You will be working with a range of clients of various ages, diagnosis', abilities and backgrounds. As Such, you will be required to adjust your approach to suit the client you are seeing at that time. Some clients may need clear boundaries set upon the first shift, others will need gentle guidance. Your Support Manager will advise you on the best approach to take, but you will need to show initiative and gauge the best approach when unplanned issues arise.
Must be able work evenings, weekends and overnights.
You must have or be willing to obtain:

- Drivers Licence and own vehicle
- NDIS Quality & Safeguards Support Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Quality & Safeguards Effective Communication Module
- NDIS Quality & Safeguards Mealtime Management Module
- COVID-19 Infection Prevention Training
- PPE Training
- First-Aid
- Current COVID-19 Vaccination
- Medication Training and Mental Health First Aid would be advantageous.
