Based in Townsville and reporting to the Regional Manager, this role is pivotal to Chubb's ongoing success in the Fire and Safety service/maintenance market across regional Queensland. This hands-on role focuses on purchasing, inventory control, administration and customer service, working closely with field technicians, managers, customers and operations.**Key Responsibilities*** Manage purchasing activities in line with budgets and production requirements* Monitor stock movements, conduct cycle counts and resolve variances* Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory data, reports and registers* Support audits, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives* Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices* General Branch administration, Timesheets, account payable / receivable, reports, invoicing, purchase orders, account reconciliation, leave planning, and on-call rosters.* Actively assist Supervisors with day-to-day admin support with customer enquiries* Ordering stock e.g. fire extinguishers, distribute product out to customers**What You'll Bring*** Previous experience in administration /office based customer service* Experience with ERP systems (Pronto or similar)* Strong Excel skills and attention to detail* Confident communicator with suppliers and internal stakeholders* You will have full Australian Working Rights* Ability to work independently and within a team* Proficiency in MS Office* Team player* A can-do attitude with a curious and positive to learn new things!**What we will offer you**:* Competitive Package on Offer* Stability, progression, and the opportunity to lead from the front* Permanent Full Time Role* Access to Chubb People Matters - an employee discount platform with access to hundreds of discounts from health, groceries, electronics and more.Pre-employment checks will be conducted on all prospective employees.
