We seek a Director to join our team in Sydney, Australia. This role will focus on Asset Management, with exposure to Development Execution and support for investment activities.
* Leading identification and implementation of asset management initiatives
* Creating annual asset business plans outlining key asset management strategies
* Identifying, appraising, and implementing re-development, re-configuration or refurbishment initiatives
* Evaluating technical and environmental considerations for new investment opportunities
* Executing multiple projects simultaneously, including financial analysis, internal memo preparation, presenting at investment committees, negotiating transaction documents, and overseeing due diligence
* Building a comprehensive network in the Asia Pacific real estate market
* Managing relationships with key partners
* Collaborating with internal teams across Oxford and local partners on investment or asset management initiatives
* Coordinating directly with senior team members and external advisors, managing junior team members
Requirements
Minimum 8-9 years of experience in asset management, development, and/or investment
Strong client-side asset management experience, ideally with a focus on external partnership execution
Experience leading projects across the development lifecycle from feasibility to operation
Strong technical knowledge and experience in valuations, property management, and leasing
Excellent analytical and technical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in financial modeling, presentation preparation, transaction management, commercial negotiations, and strategy preparation
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to interact with external advisors and peers
Industry network and representation in the Asia Pacific market
Team player, fast learner, self-starter, diligent, and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment
