As the Media lead, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic direction of media & and advertising campaigns. You will work closely with our Communications and Media the National Channel Manager, the broader marketing function and lead the media team Senior Media Officer and other Media Officers to deliver media campaigns and projects for DFR the ADF.

Job Description
Reporting to Communications and Media the National Channel Manager, you will lead the development and effective implementation of media strategies across all media formats to target decision makers.
You will:
* Work on a range of initiatives and campaigns which utilise a wide variety of marketing channels including broadcast, traditional media, digital, social media, and recruitment media.
* Engage with a wide range of stakeholders at a high level. and
* Researching and developing media strategies.
* Evaluate annual and quarterly advertising proposals to ensure effective ROI.
* Leading the media team, including strategy development, planning and budgeting.
* Responsible for media strategy input across all brands and activities.
* The Media Lead will manage the annual Complex Non Campaign media strategy, as well as a range of other projects and activations such as Content Integration.
* Assist the strategic delivery of the annual campaign media strategy, in support of the Communications and Media the National Channel Manager.
* Responsible for monitoring and problem solving high level issues.
* Responsible for maintaining service delivery expectations of the Master Media Agency, as per contractual agreement.
* Responsible for the coordination, contracts, procurement of media channel agreements and media partnerships.
* Manage and monitor media expenditure, ensuring adequate funds are available for overarching and regional activity.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure all media decisions are measurement focused and leverage available data sources.
Candidate's Profile
To be successful in this role, you will have 5+ years of previous experience working in a similar role and preferably have a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications.
Your background will demonstrate:
* Experience supervising a small team
* Exposure to procurement, creative and media approval processes.
* Sound knowledge of both online and print media tools and methods to support effective communications and engagement including writing for the web, usability, accessibility and social media.
* Strong organisational skills including multitasking, prioritising time management, working to deadlines and adapt to changing demands
* Advanced capability in liaising with a range of stakeholders
* Demonstrated ability in managing stakeholder relationships, with the ability to negotiate and influence.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
