Job Overview
The Computer-Aided Design and Drafting Manager oversees CADD services, projects, and advice to meet personnel and clients' building records needs and corporate objectives. This role requires extensive work and liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with departmental standards and corporate objectives.

We seek an individual whose experience and knowledge positions them well to manage CADD services, projects, and advice across the department. You will have considerable experience in managing medium-risk, complex CADD contracts and projects, with strong skills in researching, analysing, and reporting information to resolve issues and drive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee CADD services, projects, and advice for personnel and clients to meet their building records needs and meet corporate objectives.
* Serve as an expert on CADD matters for the Department.
* Manage the collection, storage, retrieval, registration, and issuing of the State Government's building records through the operations of the Building Records section.
Requirements
You will need:
* Considerable experience in managing medium-risk, complex CADD contracts and projects.
* Strong skills in researching, analysing, and reporting information to resolve issues and drive outcomes.
* In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with PC-based CADD and graphics systems, particularly AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
* Expertise in developing and managing electronic databases related to CADD drawings, asset registers, and building manuals.
