**About the role**
Dairy Australia is looking for a **Sustainability Framework Implementation Lead** to oversee the administration, governance and consultation processes underpinning the Australian Dairy Industry Council (ADIC) Sustainability Framework (ADSF) and manage the supporting mechanisms that inform the dairy industry and Dairy Australia investments and focus in sustainability program and policy development.
This role will be an integral part of the Sustainable dairy team and ADSF and as such, will develop and foster strategic relationships with key industry stakeholders and ADSF members will be essential to the role.
**The key responsibilities of the role include**:
- Provide oversight of the administration, governance, and consultation processes of the ADIC Sustainability Framework, ensuring that it functions efficiently and effectively to help deliver dairy industry sustainability objectives.
- Establish and manage appropriate consultation mechanisms and committee structures to support the ongoing growth of the ADIC Sustainability Framework
- Work with the DA Sustainability Commitment Managers, the Sustainability Steering Committee (SSC) members, Australian Dairy Farmers (ADF) and Australian Dairy Products Federation (ADPF) to develop and maintain a fit for purpose national consultation process for the sustainability program and policy development, including effective reference groups and taskforces.
- Commissioning appropriate materiality reviews, ADSF reporting and other evidence to support the information and reporting requirements.
**To be successful in this role you will need**:
- Ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with key industry stakeholders and ADSF members.
- Work with key industry leaders and members, as well as external stakeholders and groups as part of coordinating the ADSF and the Industry Policy Consultation Mechanism
- Demonstrated experience of project management, including the ability to develop, implement, manage, and deliver programs in a multi-disciplinary and cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- To be a team player with a flexible attitude and demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multi-skilled team and/or autonomously to achieve project outcomes.
