Concrete Agitator Truck Drivers
Monaro Mix specified Concrete is a growing family-owned independent concrete company supplying the building and construction industry in and around the Canberra and Queanbeyan area.
We currently have an opportunity for a suitable person to fill the role of Agitator Truck Driver to join our team. The focus of the position is the loading and delivering of pre-mixed concrete to customer sites and maintaining the safe operation of agitator trucks.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Delivering concrete to client sites along with managing slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete.
* Complete basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of the concrete.
* Ensure safety standards are maintained including daily pre-start checks on the vehicle
* General yard maintenance when required.
About you:
* A current HR drivers license with suitable driving record.
* Be a team player who is self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised, and a willingness to go the extra mile.
* Provide superior customer service.
* Be passionate about safety & environment with a strong work ethic.
* Have effective communication skills.
* Be able to perform all duties associated with the position including manual handling.
* Driver's license and own transport is essential.
* Ability to work reasonable overtime including Saturdays when required.
* Construction White Card.
* Relevant concrete industry experience will be highly regarded however full training will be provided.
