Our Queanbeyan Centre features three Montessori classrooms and two outdoor play areas. We provide a flexible and nurturing environment for children to explore and grow, using Montessori materials and methods to support their learning.
The Role
We are looking for a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team and help us provide the best care and education for young children. You will be part of a team that works together to deliver a high-quality educational experience.
* Building strong relationships with children
* Creating and planning learning programs for the children
* Making sure the environment is secure and welcoming
* Following our Montessori philosophy in everything you do
* Communicating with families about their children's day
* Keeping records of each child's progress
Essential criteria
* Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
* Current Working with Children Check
* First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain one)
* Good understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQS, EYLF, National Regulations)
* Good communication skills, both spoken and written
* Ability to work well in a team
* Passion for supporting children's growth and development
* Montessori experience is preferred but not required (training will be provided)
