Senior Community Development Officer
Salary Package: $126,859 per annum plus super

What You'll Be Doing
* Lead the delivery and evaluation of community development strategies and policies.
* Build strong relationships with residents, community groups, government agencies, and businesses.
* Develop and deliver projects and programs that promote wellbeing, inclusion, and resilience.
* Represent the City at regional and state-level forums, advocating for community priorities.
* Support and mentor others within the Community Development team.
* Manage project budgets, prepare business cases, reports, and funding applications.
* Identify and pursue partnership and grant opportunities to expand community impact.
What We're Looking For
* Tertiary qualification in Community Development, Social Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven background in community engagement, capacity-building, and stakeholder collaboration.
* Excellent project management, communication, and public speaking skills.
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a supportive team environment.
* Sound understanding of local government or regional community contexts (desirable).
* Current C Class Driver's Licence and recent National Police Clearance.
