One of our clients in the Utilities Industry is seeking an experienced Change Manager to join their Digital & Information division/projects.
The Organisational Change Manager is responsible for undertaking organisational change management activities to provide information, advice, and support to enable the successful delivery of large scale, complex projects involving Digital and Information management and ICT. Responsible for working within the agreed parameters of project success (i.e., Time, cost, and quality) and project effectiveness criteria (i.e., Positive customer, stakeholder, and team perceptions), the role is key to ensuring solutions are delivered that are responsive to customer needs, are sustainable in an enterprise environment.
Some of the key activities within the role are:
- Assess organisational change requirements required for the delivery of the project ensuring all facets are considered especially people impact, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures.
- Ensure the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures, are managed according to the business Framework.
- Ensure change initiatives meet objectives and are on time and budget to increase benefit realisation, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.
- Determine the impact of the project on the organisation, assess the organisation's capability to deliver and identifying where organisation change conflicts may arise.
Some of the key requirements for this role are:
- Demonstrated experience overseeing organisational change management on multiple complex ICT projects (preferably within the utilities sector). Over 3 - 6 years.
- Works at an advanced level to identify potential stakeholders, analyse their expectations, and develop strategies for managing stakeholders and their expectations. Typically works independently and provides guidance.
- Works at an advanced level to ensure timely and appropriate planning, collection, creation, distribution, storage, retrieval, management, control, archiving, and disposition of project information. Typically works independently and provides guidance.
- Applies comprehensive knowledge to act independently while providing guidance and training to others on using clear and effective verbal communications skills to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies.
