Job Title: Senior Associate
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our Finance Advisory team in Canberra. As a full-time member of the team, you will advise and assist client finance teams on accounting, budgeting, financial and management reporting, enabling better financial outcomes through cost modelling, pricing and charging reviews, sustainability analysis, forecasting, business case evaluation, procurement support and commercial assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and redesign operating models to improve finance and corporate service functions
* Enhance processes and controls to support digitisation and automation
* Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, regulations and industry trends affecting government entities
* Coach and mentor junior colleagues to foster professional growth and capability within the team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Expertise in financial and cost modelling, performance and sustainability analysis, technical accounting and reporting advisory
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and drive strategic decisions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
* Proven experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues to develop their skills and capabilities
