About EzyDog
EzyDog makes marine-grade gear that helps active dog owners actually go places with their dogs. From Australia to 50+ countries and 7,000+ stores, our products have to survive surf, snow, dirt tracks, and a Labrador who has decided today is the day to test the harness. Award-winning, premium, built like it matters, because it does.
The Role
We're hiring a Product Development Coordinator to sit at the heart of our product pipeline. This is an execution role with a focus on taking signed‐off briefs and bringing them to life accurately, on time, and with a team first approach.
You'll live in the tech packs, the factory conversations, the sampling cycles, and the QC reports. You'll be the reason a launch hits its date. You'll be the reason a stitch tolerance is right. You'll be the reason the product team trusts the system, because you maintain it.
What You'll Actually Do
* Build and maintain the tech packs. Construction, materials, trims, hardware, tolerances, callouts, all of it in Illustrator. We're not after template tweakers; we want someone who genuinely knows how a tech pack comes together and can build one a factory can work from.
* Run the factory communication. Progress samples, resolve technical queries, keep timelines on track, and flag issues early.
* Own QC and inspection management. Read and interpret bulk inspection reports from our third‐party inspector. Inspect prototypes and samples yourself. Spot non‐conformances, work out how serious they are, and elevate cleanly.
* Keep the system clean. Trackers, version control, BOM accuracy, naming conventions. If our process gets cleaner and faster under you, you're winning.
* Manage corrective actions. When something's not right at bulk, you're the one chasing it down with the factory until it is.
What You Bring
* A team‐first mindset. We're hiring the person who's pumped when the team ships, not one who needs the spotlight. Lone wolves and hero‐mode operators won't fit here.
* You "speak" Adobe Illustrator. Daily‐use level. This is non‐negotiable. You must demonstrate advanced daily‐use proficiency with the software for professional tech pack development.
* Real factory experience. You've worked directly with offshore manufacturers and you know how the relationship actually runs.
* Minimum 3‐5 years working directly with manufacturers. You must have substantial experience managing international supplier relationships and production processes.
* Minimum 3‐5 years of tech pack creation experience in apparel or soft goods. You must demonstrate proven ability to independently develop comprehensive technical specifications from concept to production.
* QC and inspection report fluency. You can read a third‐party inspection report and know what to do with it.
* Solid understanding of cut and sew. Construction, materials, trims. Apparel, accessories, or similar soft goods background.
* Process and systems instincts. You make things repeatable. You document. You don't let things slip through the cracks.
* Eye for design without being the designer. You know when something looks right, but you're not here to direct it.
Important Note on Scope
This role sits below the product strategy and creative direction layers of the team. We're looking for someone who's energised by execution, not frustrated by it.
Why EzyDog
* Genuinely global brand running with a small, fast team. Your work ships to 50+ countries.
* Dog‐friendly HQ (bring yours!)
* Staff product allowance (i.e. whatever you want)
