About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Residential Program Leader. As a key member of our program, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations and ensuring the well-being of young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Staff inductions for new employees in residential programs
2. Rostering of staff to optimize utilization
3. Assist with recruitment and conduct interviews
4. Develop weekly program plans and activity structures
5. Communicate effectively with all youth workers and colleagues in a professional manner
6. Deliver care, support, and guidance to young people in a trauma-informed approach
7. Upline client and stakeholder complaints and incidents promptly
8. Complete grocery lists and shopping for the program
9. Support staff through reflective supervision, guidance, and goal setting
10. Compile staff feedback and performance issues

Requirements:
* Minimum Certificate IV in Youth Work or Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar
* 2+ years' experience in residential youth work with knowledge of Child Protection and Out of Home Care
* Strong time management and organizational skills
* Current Blue Card and LCS check
* Current Open/P2 Australian Driver's License
* First Aid and CPR certification
* Experience in mentoring and developing staff
