Professional Painter - Join Our Dynamic Team at YB Painting Services
Position: Permanent Full-Time
Hours: 38 per week
Salary: $73,560 to $81,000 per year (including superannuation)
Location: Brisbane, with regular regional travel

Role Overview:
We are seeking a self-motivated, articulate professional painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for painting, and the ability to mentor younger team members.
Responsibilities:
* Paint interior and exterior commercial and residential sites, including new constructions and repaints, as directed by the project supervisor.
* Prepare surfaces for painting, including filling holes, paint stripping, sanding, repairing woodwork, and removing old paint or wallpaper.
* Inspect surfaces to be painted.
* Clean equipment, work areas, and any splatters resulting from painting.
* Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
* Apply undercoats, oil-based, gloss enamel, varnish or stain, and low sheen acrylic to surfaces.
* Mix paint and match colors for projects.
* Manage required paint materials for projects.
* Supervise the painting process, maintain records, and ensure work meets standards.
* Ensure health and safety requirements are met at each job site.
Requirements:
* Qualified tradesman painter with Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (desirable).
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a professional painter.
* Experience managing multiple painting projects simultaneously.
* Commitment to ongoing education and self-improvement within the painting trade or other areas.
* Knowledgeable with technology and comfortable using software to manage work.
* Ability to work as a team and mentor younger team members.
* Proficiency in Portuguese is a significant advantage.
