What You'll Do
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer - Service and based in Canberra, this role holds full accountability for ACT service operations, driving revenue growth across the Canberra market, maximising profitability, and building long‐term customer partnerships while delivering consistent, reliable outcomes for customers, employees, and subcontractors.
* Lead and develop a high‐performing, sales‐focused service team
* Own the service P&L, driving revenue, margin (GM/EBIT) and productivity
* Manage and grow key customer accounts and long‐term partnerships
* Identify and convert new business and service contract opportunities
* Take full accountability for service operations, delivery and performance
* Oversee financials including forecasting, WIP, invoicing and reporting
* Support tenders, quotations and contract lifecycle (incl. warranty/DLP conversion)
* Provide technical and operational support where required
* Drive safety, quality and risk compliance across all activities
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in a Service Manager or similar role
* Strong leadership and people management capability
* Commercial acumen with proven ability to drive growth and profitability
* Excellent customer, communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to lead in a fast‐paced, performance‐driven environment
