About the role
Join the team at Atherton Bakehouse as an Apprentice Baker/Pastry Chef. This part-time role located in Atherton, QLD 4883 will allow you to learn the craft of baking and pastry making while earning a qualification. You will be an integral part of the bakery, helping to produce a range of high-quality breads, cakes, and pastries.
Applicants must be permanent residents of Australia.
This position requires a commitment of 30+ hours per week.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting experienced bakers and pastry chefs in the production of a variety of baked goods
* Learning the techniques and processes involved in baking and pastry making
* Completing an apprenticeship program to gain a formal qualification
* Ensuring all products meet the bakery's high standards of quality and presentation
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Providing excellent customer service when interacting with customers
