About the Role
We are currently introducing multiple new rotary‐wing platforms, including the AH‐64E Apache, while continuing to support in‐service aircraft such as the CH‐47F, ARH Tiger, and UAS systems. To support the introduction into service (IIS) of the Apache, a Capability Implementation Team (CIT) is being established under the SO1 Attack Helicopters.
We are seeking an experienced Project Support Officer to assist with capability delivery, documentation, governance and coordination activities essential to achieving Capability Realisation Plan (CRP) milestones for the AH‐64E.
This is a fast‐paced, dynamic environment involving coordination with Defence, CASG, Navy, operational units, and multiple project offices.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the SO1 Attack Helicopters in executing the AH‐64E Capability Realisation Plan (CRP).
* Conduct project management and oversight tasks, including schedule maintenance and documentation update cycles.
* Liaise with CASG Project Office, operational units, and cross‐departmental working groups.
* Coordinate Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities, assisting T&E managers and organisations to plan, execute and review campaign outcomes.
* Support development of maritime role expansion requirements and coordination with RAN stakeholders.
* Prepare and submit evidence packs for milestone validation and removal of operational limitations.
* Assist in the coordination of capability governance boards.
* Represent the CIT at forums and working groups, providing capability management inputs when required.
* Provide occasional support to ARH Tiger program activities.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and operate effectively in a high‐tempo environment.
