Edenfield Family Care is a growing care services provider operating across regional South Australia, delivering high-quality, person-centred services to individuals, families, and community members. Our Port Augusta site supports a multidisciplinary team delivering care and support services aligned with regulatory, funding, and quality assurance frameworks. Due to continued growth and increasing operational requirements, Edenfield Family Care is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee day-to-day administrative, financial, and compliance operations at our Port Augusta sites.
Position Purpose The Office Manager will be responsible for the effective management of office operations, including administration, staff coordination, financial processing, compliance support, and liaison with internal and external stakeholders. The role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of the regional office and supporting service delivery outcomes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Office & Administration Management Manage daily office operations, workflows, and administrative systems
Develop, implement, and maintain office policies, procedures, and filing systems Oversee reception, correspondence, record-keeping, and document control Coordinate office resources, supplies, and vendor relationships
Staff Coordination & HR Support Coordinate staff rosters, leave records, onboarding, and internal communications Support recruitment administration, contracts, and employee documentation
Maintain personnel records in line with Fair Work and privacy requirements Act as a point of contact for staff operational queries at the Port Augusta site
Financial & Reporting Responsibilities Assist with invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll coordination Monitor budgets, track expenses, and prepare internal financial reports
Liaise with external accountants and head office finance teams Ensure accurate record-keeping for audits and funding compliance Compliance & Regulatory Support
Support compliance with relevant legislation, funding, and service standards Assist with internal audits, reporting obligations, and quality improvement processes Maintain accurate records to support government, funding body, and visa compliance
Ensure adherence to workplace health & safety requirements Stakeholder & Community Liaison Liaise with clients, families, service partners, and community stakeholders
Represent the organisation professionally within the local community Coordinate meetings, site visits, and operational communications Essential Requirements
Minimum 1 years’ relevant experience as an Office Manager, Administration Manager, or similar senior administrative role Demonstrated experience managing office operations in a regulated environment (health, aged care, disability, community services, or similar) Strong organisational, leadership, and time-management skills
High-level written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office management systems Ability to work independently in a regional setting
Willingness to commit to a long-term, full-time role in Port Augusta Desirable Qualifications & Skills Diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
Experience in healthcare, disability, aged care, or community services sectors Knowledge of Australian workplace relations, WHS, and compliance frameworks Experience supporting audits, funding compliance, or government reporting
