The Role
We're seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join their Service and Construction division in Mount Isa. As they strengthen their presence as a genuine industry challenger, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and alignment with company policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities:
* Effectively manage and execute assigned tasks in accordance with project requirements.
* Collaborate within project teams to achieve key milestones and deadlines.
* Maintain a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
* Interpret and update electrical schematics and technical drawings as needed.
* Accurately complete all required documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment and methodologies.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and workplace health and safety legislation.

* Attractive hourly rate: $60 - $65 per hour + super
* $2,500 sign-on bonus ($1,000 in first week, $1,500 after 6 months)

Required Qualifications
* Current Unrestricted Electrical Licence
* Current "C" class Driver's Licence
* White Card (construction site card)
* LVR & CPR Qualification
* Experience in working in the Industrial Electrical Industry
* Basic computer skills in Word and Outlook
* Must have Australian Permanent Residency
Desirable:
* Working at Heights certification
* High-Risk Licence – EWP
* Intermediate computer skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office package
* Hazardous Area Installation experience and qualifications
