To continue our growth and success, we are seeking an experienced full-time Project Manager to help within our switchboard and switchroom manufacturing department.
You'll collaborate closely with the engineering, sales and production teams, taking projects from concept to completion. You'll play a key part in delivering seamless, end-to-end solutions for major industry clients—ensuring every project runs smoothly and makes a lasting impact.
A willingness to learn and a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
Role Responsibilities
* Liaise with customers to keep them updated and involved in current and upcoming electrical projects
* Liaise daily with estimators, engineers, electricians, and fabricators to see manufacturing projects from conception to completion.
* Review engineering designs and documentation to ensure compliance with company quality levels and Australian standards.
* Oversee procurement and ensure components arrive on time.
* Arrange freight for inbound and outgoing consignments.
* Take a major role in the estimation of small to major projects in varied market sectors.
* Assist with manufacturing processes and quality control checks.
* Conduct final validation of switchboards to ensure quality, performance and reliability.
Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Project Manager (critical)
* Tertiary qualification in project management or associated electrical trade qualification.
* Basic knowledge of electrical systems and/or automation is highly regarded.
* Knowledge of Australian Standards (AS/NZS 61439, AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008, SIRs) is highly regarded.
* Experience with estimating projects.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD is highly regarded.
* Work well in a team setting.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
