We are looking for a Senior Paid Media Lead based in Perth (hybrid) to lead our transition into the next era of media buying. We are looking for a systems thinker who wants to architect the performance engines of the future. You will act as the technical authority for our paid media stack, helping us define and refine how we use AI and automation to deliver outsized returns for our largest clients.
What you will do
You will design and implement programmatic bidding architectures and automation workflows that allow our team to focus on high-level strategy.
Work with our leadership team to pilot and orchestrate AI tools that maintain a 24/7 competitive edge.
Run client workshops and manage high-level stakeholders.
Act as a product owner for our performance internal processes. If a task is repetitive, you'll help us build the script, agent, or pipeline to handle it.
Ensure our tracking, attribution, and account setups are the gold standard, accurate, watertight, and built for scale.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in high-complexity paid media environments, viewing accounts through the lens of automation and data velocity.
Proven ability to work with scripts (Google Ads/Python), API integrations, or low-code automation tools to maintain a competitive edge.
The confidence to guide C-level stakeholders, push back on best practice myths, and drive data-backed decisions.
Ability to produce clear technical scopes and performance roadmaps that the execution team can follow with zero guesswork.
Experience guiding a pod of specialists while maintaining the gold standard for account architecture.
Highly desired
Comfortable with the fast pace and dynamic nature of a digital agency.
Familiarity with BigQuery, SQL, or advanced data visualisation to prove outsized returns.
Experience managing automated bidding or custom-built scripts to replace manual account management.
