We’re currently on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Venue Manager to lead our team and keep the good times rolling.
The Role
As Venue Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the bar and nightclub. From managing staff and overseeing events, to ensuring exceptional customer experiences and maintaining compliance, you'll be the driving force behind everything that makes Flinders tick.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of the venue, including staffing, stock, and service standards
* Lead, train, and motivate a passionate team of bartenders, security, and floor staff
* Manage bookings, promotions, and entertainment schedules
* Ensure all licensing, health & safety, and compliance requirements are met
* Monitor venue performance and report on sales, budgets, and targets
* Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
* Collaborate with marketing teams to drive foot traffic and boost revenue
What We’re Looking For
* 3 to 5 years Proven experience in hospitality or nightlife management (bar, club, or similar)
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* A hands-on approach and willingness to work late nights and weekends
* Knowledge of liquor licensing laws, health & safety regulations, and best practices
* Passion for nightlife, music, and creating exceptional guest experiences
* Hold a current RLMV & Approved Managers license
