Opportunity to work in a dynamic birth suite with a dedicated team of midwives, obstetricians and neonatologists. Work to suit you We are looking for Full-time and Part-time Registered Midwives to join our team. Prince of Wales Private is a centre for world-class maternity care and provides opportunities for development and work-life balance.
You will also work across the Post-natal wards and Special Care Nursery on a rotational basis. A dedicated maternity educator will support your upskilling and introduction to the unit.

Responsibilities
* Delivering evidence-based midwifery care and provide exceptional patient experience to woman and their families
* Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
* Ensure patient and staff safety
* Supervise, direct and guide midwifery/nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
* Deliver education and support to mothers and their families
Qualifications
* Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA
* Current NSW Working with Children Check
* Proven Experience in a similar role
* Special Care Nursery experience advantageous
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
* Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Works well independently and within a team
* Compliance with NSW Health Policy PD2020_017 Occupational Screening, Assessment & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker
* Basic computer skills

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 – $49.79 per hour
