* Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $149,739 to $173,174 + super.

The role

The Manager, Talent Management Projects is responsible for translating strategic workforce priorities into clearly defined talent, succession and leadership initiatives, delivered through the effective management of complex, time‐bound projects. It operates in a dynamic environment characterised by competing priorities and evolving organisational needs, requiring a strong balance between strategic intent and practical implementation.

The role leads the planning and delivery of multiple concurrent projects, establishing appropriate governance, managing risks and dependencies, and coordinating contributions from senior stakeholders, subject matter experts and external providers. It develops fit‐for‐purpose frameworks, tools and guidance, and supports leaders and managers to adopt and embed initiatives, ensuring sustainable improvements to organisational capability beyond project completion.

What you will bring to the role

* Demonstrated experience delivering complex talent, succession and leadership projects end to end within large, matrixed or public sector environments.
* Strong project management capability, including the ability to establish governance frameworks, manage risks and dependencies, and deliver outcomes to scope, time and quality.
* Proven ability to translate workforce strategy and executive priorities into practical, fit‐for‐purpose frameworks, tools and implementation plans.
* Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the credibility to work effectively with senior leaders and cross‐functional contributors without direct authority.
* A pragmatic, solutions‐focused approach that balances strategic intent with operational realities to ensure initiatives are adopted, embedded and sustained.

Key skills and experience

* Proven experience in project management and the design and implementation of talent management projects such as leadership and management development, talent and succession planning within complex organisations.

What is an essential requirement:

* Tertiary qualifications in leadership, management or organisational psychology, organisational development, learning and development, adult education, and/or equivalent professional experience.
