Our team is seeking an experienced and skilled overhead linesman to join our busy construction department.
Job Description
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing skilled reactive maintenance, system alterations, upgrades, and new works on the essential energy network. You will work closely with your site supervisor and project manager to meet the expectations of our clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake all required safety processes and documentation, safety responsibilities, and ensure the health and safety of yourself and others.
* Participate in daily toolbox meetings.
* Comply with all laws and regulations associated with the electrical industry.
* Drive and operate company vehicles and mobile plant.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Certificate III in Electrical Supply Industry (ESI) - Power Systems - Distribution Overhead.
* Demonstrated experience working as an overhead linesman.
* Heavy Vehicle Licence (HR, HC, or MC - unrestricted).
* Construction Industry Induction (White Card).
* Experience working in tight-access areas in and around essential services.
