ARO College is the runner-up in South Australia's small training provider of the year for 2025. We hold a funded activities agreement with Skills SA to provide subsidised VET pathways for 16 qualifications from the Agricultural, Horticulture, Conservation and Land Management (AHC) Training Package, from Certificate III through to Diploma. We specialise in delivering online and 1:1, flexible, workplace-based traineeships and apprenticeships to all corners of South Australia and Nationally.
ARO College is seeking a Training Administrator to schedule and organise the Training team to deliver work-based traineeships and apprenticeships in SA. The Unicorn we are looking for has experience working in the broad horticulture or landscape construction industries, experience in the vocational training or education sectors, and exposure to VET student systems and online learning.
The Training Administrator's primary role is to liaise with students and their employers to schedule the delivery of work-based training and assessment services in-line with each student's Training Plan. Key to the role is the allocation of Trainers/Assessors to deliver on-site training and assessment services while ensuring students are suitably supported and the resources required for delivery of on-site workshops are available.
Reporting to the Training Coordinator, the Training Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration and enrolment of students in the Student Management System, aXcelerate, recording the outcomes of training activities and invoicing customers.
Main Duties
* Implement the planning and coordination of training and assessment operations, inclusive of online, classroom and workplace Workshops, to ensure the required resources, including both trainers and equipment are available to support delivery.
* Ensure the completeness of all assessment results submitted by Trainer/Assessors and follow up with them if amendments are required.
* Enter vetted academic results into the Student Management System (SMS), aXcelerate.
* Maintain records and data in government portals.
* Prepare monthly AVETMISS and funded activity data.
* Invoice and charge clients as required.
* Conduct course registration and enrolment sessions on-site at the student's workplace.
* Process student enrolment applications.
* Maintain VET compliant student data and files.
* Conduct periodic audits on student assessment records to ensure their accuracy and integrity.
* Answering and triaging telephone and email enquiries from members of staff, and the general public.
* Organise travel for ARO College staff as required.
