Service Support Manager – Outside School Hours Care
Peak Sports & Learning is currently seeking a passionate and experienced leader to join our team as a Northern Service Support Manager on a 6‐month fixed‐term basis.
About the Role
The Northern Region currently includes services located from Dapto through to Woonona East, with the successful applicant supporting a range of services across this area.
The Northern Service Support Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting the day‐to‐day operations of multiple Outside School Hours Care services.
Working closely with Operations, HR, Centre Supervisors, and educators, the role focuses on supporting service quality, mentoring teams, maintaining compliance standards, and assisting services to deliver high‐quality programs and care.
Responsibilities
* Supporting Centre Supervisors and educators across multiple services
* Providing operational and leadership support to OOSH teams
* Assisting with staffing, rostering, and service operations
* Mentoring and coaching educators and leadership teams
* Supporting behaviour guidance strategies and inclusive practices
* Assisting services to maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework
* Building positive relationships with children, families, schools, and communities
* Supporting onboarding, training, and professional development processes
About You
* Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills
* Has experience working within OOSH or education environments
* Has a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework and Child Safe practices
* Is solutions‐focused, adaptable, and organised
* Is passionate about supporting and developing teams
* Can confidently build positive relationships with children, families, schools, and staff
* Thrives within a fast‐paced and dynamic environment
* Current paid NSW Working With Children Check
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
* Child Protection & Child Safety Training
* Relevant qualification in Children's Services, Education, Recreation, or related field
* Driver licence and willingness to travel between services
