About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Apprentice Air Conditioning Technician to join our team at Air-Rite Mechanical Services in Brisbane. This is a full-time position that will provide you with the opportunity to learn and develop skills in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry under the guidance of experienced technicians.
What you'll be doing
* Assist experienced technicians in the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
* Participate in theoretical and practical training to gain the necessary qualifications and licenses
* Carry out preventative maintenance checks and minor repairs on a range of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of work carried out
* Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
What we're looking for
* A genuine interest and enthusiasm for working in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry
* Commitment to completing an apprenticeship and obtaining the required qualifications
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot issues
* Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
* Valid driver's licence
