 
        
        **Job Description - Graduate Game Designer**
Reporting to the Game Design Manager, the Graduate Game Designer will create, design, calculate, analyze and process game ideas which eventually translate into slot machines on the casino floor. The position is also involved in the development of recent game concepts and is responsible for the creation and verification of all mathematical calculations for those games and providing game documentation & guidance to the game team throughout the game development process.
**MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**: 
The duties of this role include but are not limited to the following:
- Making games with a diverse team of Game Designers, Artists, Sound Designers and Software Engineers. 
- Utilizing advanced game design, mathematical, and creative skills to create multiple assigned games, focusing on the entire scope of game design elements. 
- Executing the full scope of game design activities that involve basic creative thinking, industry and competitive knowledge and technical skills. 
- Utilizing knowledge of customer and end user preferences, math probability theories, play design concepts for gaming machines, design tools and player preferences such as likes and dislikes. 
- Productivity: Must efficiently and effectively perform assigned tasks and accept new projects, as demand requires with timely and accurate completion. 
- Quality: Consistently perform to high standards of accuracy, thoroughness, and timelines. 
- Interaction: Exhibit a positive manner toward the job and work well with customers and co-workers. 
- Accountability: Self-accountable and accepts consequences of his/her actions. Demonstrates unquestionable integrity in their daily duties.
**Skills/Requirements** 
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Engineering. 
- Proficient at any programming language, C or C++ preferred. 
- Proficient at Microsoft Excel. 
- Proven ability to create game concepts and math models. 
- Proven ability to work in teams, with managers and other disciplines. 
- Consistently meets deadlines and expectations when shipping specifications to engineering and other departments. 
- Able to develop award winning, next generation games**.**:
- Expertise in different gambling concepts and styles. Proven ability to lead, develop and deliver product on schedule. 
- Must have strong communication skills, be able to work independently and be team oriented.
**Physical/Additional Requirements**: 
Must be comfortable working in a cubicle with limited working space for long hours with the ability to remain seated at computer terminal for extended periods. Extreme repetitive motion using keyboard, mouse, telephone.
**Supervision Requirements**: 
Substantial: Work receives close supervision; supervisor provides guidance on matters not specifically covered by established procedures. Limited opportunity to vary work steps or in deciding appropriate procedures, guidelines and methods.
