ABOUT THE ROLE: Location: Multiple sites including Melbourne metro and South Eastern suburbsFull-time positions with multi-shift options (Monday - Sunday, 5:30 am - 11:00 pm) - no rotating 24/7 rosterOpportunities across multiple roles, including Tactical, Static, and Loss Prevention.Must have prior experience in Retail Security.Pay ranging from Level 1 to Level 5 depending on experience and role.Experienced in professionally de-escalating aggressive or challenging situations.Wilson Security is expanding in the VIC, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the region.
This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.
These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers.
They offer the prospect to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe environmentConduct thorough store patrols to identify and mitigate security and safety risksAccurately document incidents through detailed report writingIdentify and report hazards to ensure a secure workplaceProfessionally de-escalate aggressive or challenging situationsRespond promptly and effectively to emergency situations WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Australian citizen or full working rights in AustraliaValid Victorian Security Licence with First Aid & CPR Certificate; Crowd Control endorsement highly desirablePrevious experience in retail security is essentialStrong customer service skills and professional physical presence, suited to a retail environmentProven ability to de-escalate challenging situations and manage youths or difficult patrons calmly and safelyAbility to work independently or as part of a teamDemonstrated proficiency in preparing detailed reports and using computers and security-related online reporting systemsPhysically fit with the ability to walk and stand for extended periodsProactive mindset with strong problem-solving skillsWilson Security is an employer of choice, engaging with our people both online and in person.
