Speech Pathologist Murrumbidgee Speech Pathology
This full-time (or part-time) position will be paediatric with a mixed caseload of early childhood, and school age clients with a range of communication and feeding disorders.
Experienced and newly graduated speech pathologists are encouraged to apply.
Murrumbidgee Speech Pathology was established in 2019 with the aim of providing a local speech pathology service known for excellence, integrity, equality, respect and acceptance.
You will be joining a supportive and fun team that values learning from each other. Our team includes two speech pathologists, an allied health assistant, and an office administrator. We might be biased but we really have an AMAZING team We enjoy team building and professional development days and have regular social activities during the term.
Murrumbidgee Speech Pathology have developed very strong relationships within our local community and have particular interest in working with children from aboriginal and torres strait islander backgrounds, and children in out of home care.

* we have a new graduate learning program which includes mentoring, self paced learning modules, paid external professional development, scheduled internal professional development and shadowing of more experienced staff. Your caseload will be carefully considered, and will be built up gradually as you develop your skills and experience.

Skills and Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
* Current Speech Pathology Australia Membership with Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist status (or willing to get)
* Current Working with Children's Check and Police Check
* Skills and experience in working with children and young people with disabilities
* Interest in working collaboratively with children and families from diverse backgrounds. This includes Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, families from a low socioeconomic background, and children in out of home care.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to show initiative and innovation
