**Role**
Lead a small team in the development and implementation of an effective compliance function that supports all legal and compliance matters in this growing organisation. This is a senior role managing a range of obligations and regulatory requirements as well as the following:
- Provide guidance to Management and staff in respect to all compliance issues and requirements (AFSL, ACL, AML, Privacy, ACCC, etc).
- Work with the relevant regulatory bodies to produce submissions (AFCA, ACMA and ASIC)
- Develop training for compliance policies to be deployed across the business
- Manage a small team to oversee regular compliance control testing
- Provide succinct Board and Committee reporting and advice
**To be successful in this position you will have;**
- Extensive background in legal or compliance within an ASFL regulated entity (insurance preferred)
- Legal qualifications and ideally a practising certificate
- Sound understanding of Australian Corps Act and consumer law
- Ability to effectively manage a team of specialists and continually motivate and grow their capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information to various stakeholders

This is a permanent part time opportunity between 6-8 days per fortnight. There is flexibility on a hybrid working model and how the working arrangement is structured.
