Job Overview
We are currently seeking skilled individuals to join our fishing crew. The positions available include Ship's Master, Ships Engineer (Fishing), Master Fisher, Ship's Officer, and Fishing and Deckhands.
Responsibilities
* Ship's Master: Lead the fishing crew and ensure safe operations.
* Ships Engineer (Fishing): Maintain and repair the vessel's engines and equipment.
* Master Fisher: Supervise the fishing operations and ensure high-quality catches.
* Ship's Officer: Assist the Ship's Master in overseeing the crew and vessel operations.
* Fishing and Deckhands: Perform various tasks related to fishing and vessel maintenance.
Requirements
To be considered for these positions, applicants must meet the following requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' relevant industry experience for senior roles; 1 year minimum for Deckhands.
* Hold the appropriate licenses or registrations.
* Provide verifiable references and evidence of sea-time or log-book.
* Be strong, adaptable, and skilled in deck operations.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary package that includes annual salary negotiation based on qualifications and performance. Industry standard ranges are:
* Ship's Master: $120,000+ (subject to negotiation)
* Ships Engineer (Fishing): $72,000–$82,000
* Master Fisher: $75,000–$82,000
* Ship's Officer: $72,000–$82,000
* Fishing and Deckhands: $68,800–$78,000+
All positions include a government-regulated superannuation guarantee.
