About The Role
The Forklift Operator role is a Full‑Time position, based at our PGH Bricks site in Oxley, QLD. Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for the operation and production of bricks, while maintaining quality, low cost, and safe work practices.
Responsibilities
- Actively support and promote a safety‑first culture. We aim for a zero‑harm workplace where everyone looks out for each other – Never Walk Past principle.
- Operate a forklift in the brick factory.
- Support and use the WHS&E; system, workplace assessments, yard delivery performance, and Quality Control of the product leaving the yard through performance measurements.
- Be responsible for secure & efficient operation of machinery, accurate & timely loading of company and customer trucks.
- Housekeeping around the yard.
What You Bring To The Role
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and wellbeing

- Attention to detail, especially when it comes to safety, quality, and process accuracy.
- Proven success in a similar role, preferably in a high volume, multiple stage continuous manufacturing / factory environment is desirable.
- Forklift licence essential
- Robust understanding of production operations
