As a Bartender, you'll be the heart of the bar experience—mixing quality drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring every visit feels welcoming, effortless, and enjoyable.
Your Day-to-Day
You'll help create a vibrant and inviting bar experience by:
* Welcoming guests with warmth and delivering friendly, attentive service
* Preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to voco quality standards
* Following standard recipes to ensure consistency and presentation
* Ensuring responsible service of alcohol, including checking guest identification
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar at all times
* Managing cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately in line with procedures
* Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory control
* Checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolving concerns promptly
* Working collaboratively with the wider food & beverage team
What We're Looking For
* Previous bartending experience highly regarded
* Sound knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
* A genuine passion for customer service and hospitality
* Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
* Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
* RSA Victoria certification
* Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays
* Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently behind the bar
