About the role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate support workers to join our team in the Ipswich / Bundamba area, providing exceptional care to our client with ASD and an intellectual disability.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 2:1 support during daytime, evening and overnight shifts.
* Build robust, trusting relationships with the client and his family.
* Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including family members.
* Implement Behaviour Support Plan (BSP) with a focus on PBS strategies.
What you will bring
* Proven experience in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
* Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with families and other stakeholders.
* A calm and composed presence, especially in high-stress situations.
* Availability and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
