Lead AI, automation and analytics initiatives that solve real business problems while designing and enhancing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. Partner with stakeholders to translate needs into smart, scalable digital services and drive data-informed process improvement across Council.

About this opportunity:

* Lead initiatives that apply AI, automation and analytics to real business problems.
* Design, enhance and support cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure and modern development tools.
* Translate business needs into smart, scalable digital solutions, balancing usability, security and supportability.
* Guide stakeholders through data-driven and AI-assisted process improvement to influence change and deliver measurable outcomes.
* Provide essential support, provision, development and ongoing management of IS technical solutions.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

* Demonstrated experience as a Senior Systems Analyst (or similar) delivering end-to-end digital solutions from discovery through to implementation and support.
* Proven capability designing and supporting cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure (e.g., app hosting, integration, identity, monitoring and data services).
* Strong skills in requirements elicitation, process mapping and solution design, with an ability to translate business needs into scalable technical outcomes.
* Experience applying automation, analytics and/or AI approaches to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
* Stakeholder management skills, including influencing, facilitating workshops and communicating complex concepts clearly.
* Sound understanding of security, privacy and governance considerations in solution delivery within a large, customer-focused organisation.
