About the role
The Technical Services Manager serves a critical leadership role, overseeing strategic stormwater and floodplain management, third-party road access coordination, and development engineering services. This role ensures infrastructure planning and regulatory oversight are seamlessly aligned with environmental resilience and urban growth.
By championing innovative engineering approaches and robust compliance frameworks, the Technical Services Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping infrastructure that not only supports community safety and development—but also embodies the deep commitment to delivering sustainable urban outcomes to support the goals for Community Strategic Plan.

Remuneration
$149,199.96 to $167,926.20 + 12% Superannuation + Access to IWC Motor Vehicle Lease Back Scheme
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
Essential Requirements
* Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia
* Significant experience in leading and managing engineering teams
* Demonstrated financial management, procurement, contract and budgetary experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
* Understanding of or experience with the Australian Business Excellence framework or experience in development and execution of improvement initiatives or continuous improvement.
* Experience leading and managing a customer-focused team
* Knowledge of and commitment to equity and diversity principles, work health and safety, ethical practice and acting with probity at all times
* Current NSW Class C Driver's Licence
Desirable requirements
* Accreditation as a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent
* Experience in Prince 2 project management methodology or similar methodologies
