Senior Financial Adviser
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Financial Adviser to join our Perth team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, investment management, and client relationship management. This role involves providing expert financial advice to high-net-worth individuals and developing tailored financial strategies to help clients achieve their objectives.
We will count on you to:
* Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans tailored to clients' goals, risk tolerance, and financial circumstances.
* Advise clients on investments, retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, insurance, and other financial products.
* Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with clients through regular communication and review meetings.
* Analyse clients' financial status by collecting and interpreting relevant financial data.
* Stay up to date with market trends, financial products, and regulatory changes to provide informed and compliant advice.
* Collaborate with other professionals such as accountants, lawyers, and tax specialists to deliver holistic financial solutions.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and Mercer Financial Advice policies.
* Achieve business development targets by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities.
What you need to have:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Financial Advice, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or equivalent are highly preferred.
* Minimum 5‑7 years' experience in financial advisory or wealth management.
* Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, tax laws, and retirement planning.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
* Proven track record managing client relationships, including high‑net‑worth portfolios, and driving business growth.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Proficiency with financial planning software (Xplan) and CRM systems.
